The "Grove"

Alrighty, since so much happened yesterday at the "Grove" I decided to document it!

Okay, so we drove to LA (UGH! LONG DRIVE!) and the entire way I pestered my parents with questions about the world, religion, and politics (yeah, only a 13 year old seminerd would do that!) So the hours pasted by like this.

Who will win the Democratic GOP(?) ?

Who will win the Republican GOP(?) ?

What's the difference between Shiates and Sunis?

Who are the Kurds?

Why does it seem like no one likes Israel?

(and out of nowhere) What did Russia do?

and it went like this....for hours!

finally we arived at the Grove (mall) and went to the parking complex.... with almost no gasoline....

So I said "Let's try out Level 8! Actually, better yet, Level 7 (the one with one space)"

"Why Level 7, there's only one space, we won't get it."

"Simple psycology Dad, everyone will think like you, so no one will attempt to go up there."

my brother, "What if everyone thinks like you?"

death of the genius, I was quiet.

So we went up, and up, and up, FOR 30 MINUTES! On the way I saw a girl who was talking to herself, so I did get something out of it.....lol

When we got to the top, the sign said " 67 spaces open" so we got to the roof floor with high hopes, first thing said at the top?

What happened to the 67 spaces?

The 8th floor was absolutly packed with NO SPOTS OPEN. Have you ever seen LA traffic? Don't. It's awful, and it was like that all of the cars off of Sunset Blvd. had just jammed in.

We heard a concerto of diffrently tuned car horns. :)

We decided that we weren't going to wait for the gas tank to be empty, we left. On are way down, we met a fellow country women (I'm not European). Tell me what language this sounds like.

Ahhhh, minim spots left. (our language is a mixture with other languages for modern things)

We also asked where the nearest gas station was, but I don't speak fluently, and I'm tired of translating... SO GUESS WHAT/WHICH LANGUAGE(S)!!!!!

We drove by another lot...and guess what?

3 PARKING SPACES! We went in no questions asked. Gasoline? What Gasoline? lol

Our first destination? Barnes and Noble. We stayed there for a while (and I read 4 volumes of Chibi Vampire) so I was really happy. Then we went to the World Market (like trader joes but more....diverse.) and got some italian cakes (for someones gift we were giving today) and I got 70% dark chocolate. I really liked it, but I decided I would take the intensity in levels, next 85% then 99%. I wonder how bitter it will be...........................................

So we went home after we picked up my mom who went to see family. The End!

But on the way back, I thought of another story. One of a servant girl who fights (and blackmails) her way to power. Then, I thought, I'll execute her at the end of the story. I was so proud of my self till I finally discovered that I more or less came up with Anne Bolyen (sp?), a real wife of Henry the VII. Will I ever come up with anything original? sigh...

Okay...this week has been kinda slow...I did come up with a new idea for a book (Jew and Nazi relationship broken due to the Holocaust) but I feel like it's been over done....

Let's start back toward my week..hmmmmmmmm well, last last friday this happend...

My friends from the ice arena were going to THE BEST BURGER PLACE EVER without me because I had been MIA for the whole afternoon (I wasn't even in the ice arena). Once they got to the place Jenny called me and asked whether I could come to eat or skate (Answer-no) then she said "I think my sister wants to talk to you....". She handed the phone to Amy and this is what I heard.
"Bettybettybettybettybetty! OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH! You can't believe it!"

"Believe what?"

"When we were walking here we saw a poster at the elementary school that said "Wanted. Escaped from prison, very dangerous. Charged with homicides, armed and dangerous" I WAS SOOOOOOOOO SCARED! Even Stephine was sacared and she's NEVER scared."

I came up with an impressive "OMG"

"Are you coming?"

"Ummmmmm no.."

"Oh, okay, gotta eat, bye!"

I LOVE my friends, I wish we all went to the same school...

But I will be seeing them more often because I'm going to dance lessons with them as well as figure skating. YAY! Dancing is the ideal off ice training, builds muscle and you become more flexible (I can only do one Y-split, two front splits, NO STRADDLE SPLITS, NO I SPLITS, and NO OVERSPLITS, and my front spiral is awful...ON A GOOD DAY! I need to be flexible!

So I'm happy.......................but when am I not?

I do really miss my best friend (Jessie Lin) who moved just barely enough that we couldn't really see each other anymore....I need to find time for us to do things, I'll probably pull something off, I love planning events, attending them, not so much.

And I miss my friends from Jeopardy (did you know that I was on it just a month ago for the kid's week?), They live half way across the country and don't check email as much as me...

OKAY ENOUGH DEPRESSION!

I just finished reading the Princess Bride and LOVED it, I love Inigo Montoya!

And I'm going to be working the graveyard shift for sectionals, good thing ice monitor doesn't require much movement. (LOL)

WHAT A WEEK!

Wow, I've been like sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo busy this week. I just went back to school and all of a sudden I'm all like " OMG! What in the world is a slope???!!!" when I've been getting 100 on alot of my math papers....well, think I did well on the test...hopefully!

My report card came out....I had a 3.8..... WHY! I HATE PE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just because I can't shoot baskets for my life my PE teacher gave me a B! Now my perfect 4.0 streak is ruined!!!

I bet you didn't think I was an A student huh? I don't really sound or look like a geek but I'm happy to be one!

So yeah, I went to JMUN and totally lost the um game because I use the words "um" and"like" ALOT in my speeches....which doesn't help all that much in politics.... *sigh*

So... my evil french skating coach is nice to me now, just scary. I don't know what made him see the light (lol hahahaha). Just kidding, maybe he thinks I have potential and wants me to be his student. TOO BAD! I already have the BEST skating coach EVER! HA! I'm used to her critizing now... I'm happy about that. And I make less mistakes...which is good, she has made my friend cry before....and my friend's friend... Ah well, suppose I'm next.............

BUT I ACTUALLY LANDED A LUTZ A COUPLE OF TIMES! YAY! She helped me do it so I'm okay with that...who am I kidding? I'm ELATED! Soon that consistant, perfect lutz will be mine!

MUWAGHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *cough cough* ha okay, done there..................

I lost my soccer game, no surprise there. I haven't run for weeks, I'm running more than most people on our team, but before I had a lot of endurance (I just have to be distracted when I run! lol) but now I run like half a lap and I'm tired! UGH! I hate wildfires, I couldn't run with ashes...

OH WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm done, now I get to take yet another day trip to LA. YUCK! Oh well, that means coffee&books....... and computers! (Geek, remember?). I'll update soon, speaking of which! I saw that I had 80 something hits! WOW YAY! Keep on reading, just comment, make me HAPPY!

Time: 2 am tuesday morning, September. The Cullen residence. Quiet, quaint. Alice upstairs, Jasper and Emmet betting (as always...). Carlisle and Esme talking upstairs. Rosalie looking in mirror, again (lol!) Alice runs down.

Alice: I want to join!

Jasper: Why? Don't you hate baseball?

Alice: But I want to go shopping!

Emmet: So? Oh..... Alice, didn't we already tell you that you couldn't bet with us?

Jasper: We'll know you'll win anyways, what's the point?

Alice: Fine, be that way! *sticks out tongue*

Alice runs upstairs and comes back with laptop, this takes all of 3 seconds.

Emmet: What took you so long?

Alice: Couldn't find laptop, too much clothes all over....

Jasper: What are you doing? *looks to see a baseball beting site, Alice has entered 2 million
under Red Sox* That's alot of money Alice, are you sure?

Emmet: Who are you kidding? This means a Gucci shopping spree for her, of course she'll win.

2 months later

at the bank.......

Alice: I have a check I'd like to cash....

Bank attendant: *looks at check* What, is this real? *starts to analyze it* How did you get it?

Alice: Of course it's real! A product of careful gambling........ Gucci, here I come!

Okay, this is why this is my first post in like 2 days. The reason is....nothing is going on! I just slept yesterday (and posibly today too) so there won't be much to say.



I watched Skate America yesterday, I was so dissapointed. I actually liked the Men's routines more than the ladies. Maybe because it's so early in the skating season..I just don't know. I was happy to watch Caroline Zhang, she's going to be the star of American skating. After Kwan and Cohen left, America didn't have a good team anymore! Kimmy Miessner is OKAY but the Hughes sisters? UGH! I'm so happy to see good kids on the team. Nagasu and Zhang will OWN the competitions! And I do plan on getting on team USA soon two years at most. But I still like Japan's team more at the moment.....



Speaking of which! Mai Asada (Mao's older sister) isn't anywhere near her younger sister! Mao is awsome! Mai is just good. And Miki Ando really disapointed me! She's usually so good! I believe there were two occasions when she fell and at least once whe did a single instead of a triple! And everyone was falling on Salchows! SALCHOWS! Honestly, that's the easiest jump! Personally, I hate Salchows but whatever.



GO MAO! GO MAO! GO MAO! I was actually really surprised when Mao and Yuna didn't show up. They're the best two skaters in the world at the moment.... But the GP competition is usally for geting the rest of the country's team out there. Maybe they put Ando (Japan's second in command) because they wanted to sweep a few medals...... well, she did get silver..... Mao's better though.... Well, I was happy to finally see the Pearl spin Zhang came up with, I'll practice it soon....just need that perfect layback and bielman, pearl is a cross between the two...



Sigh, I wish I was flexible...maybe it would help to be a vampire (I did have that thought today)!

Now for my boring life! I slept and read all of yesterday. The only skating session was during Skate America and I didn't feel like skating. I'm not going to do a Freestyle or Public today either. I have homework to do........from last week.......... Oh well. I decided I'd do 30 mornings with Natasha once I get to axel (a week, two weeks?). My doubles and axel are coming along nicely off-ice. On ice? Haven't tried. Triples? Quads? Soon..........................................



So, other than the homework I've had nothing to do since school's out. But I have come up with an idea for a new story...most of my ideas don't get past that, just ideas...but this one has really been shouting to be written................ You know how the Cullens can't sleep? What does Alice and the rest of the family do during the nightime hours (other than Edward stalking Bella of course!)? What could happen when Alice video blogs her life? You'll have to wait and see! And comment!

Okay, I LOVE BLOGGER! My computer just died and it saved the draft for me! YAY!

HAPPY SATURDAY!

Hi, this is me (well DUH!), and I'm celebrating my 3-post party! Yay for my blog! I'm so proud of you *sniffle*. Alright, to the point................do I have one? I went skating today and couldn't do ANYTHING! UGH! It was SO CROWDED! If you can't have room to do a loop, you know it's crowded! Well, soon I shall be on the National Team and no one will stop me! MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! *cough* okay, done now. What I really want is the National Team Jacket! It makes you look so cool and professional! And I really want to go to all of the ISU events, especially JGP (Junior Grand Prix, 8 events, 8 weeks, all around the globe!). I can't wait to be an elite! I learn fast so I do have a good chance....... Just a few more years....

So, what happened Friday....? HALLOWEEN AT THE RINK! Yeah, I had my own personal fairy and saw the CUTEST Dorothy coustume (with shiney red boot covers that looked like shoes!). Me? I dressed up as a figure skater for halloween! ROLF! HA! But I didn't win anything.......
So yeah, out with my friends, the usual Friday night......

So this is what decided to do! I'll have characters from random books, shows, movies, etc come to visit my blog! So today I am talking to..... who am I going to talk to......? Hmmmmmmmm. I'll figure it out by tomorow. Leave a request or suggestion! ARIGATOU! SO BYE BYE!

Hello, again!

HI! Alright, since today is smelling slightly less smokey I'm HAPPY! I have been SO BORED lately, ugh, fire season SUCKS! Anywhoooooooooo, I'm going to skate today! Again! Aren't you guys happy for me? My skating life is going GREAT! I just got my shoot-the-duck, spread eagle, ina bauer, and camel! All of those moves are in the beginning stages but it's getting there! I'm elated! And I can land my axel off ice now! (YAY MOI!), on ice....er.....not so much, I don't try, I'm not suicidal :)! It's just that lutz! I HATE LUTZ WITH A PASSION! If I could get that dumb jump I could be working on axel and doubles right now! UGH! And those pesky split jumps.......

Jumps I can do= Salchow, Toe loop, loop, half loop, falling leaf, flip. (I'll add when I get more!)

Spins I can do = Scratch, Sit, Back scratch, Camel, Layback, Corkscrew, broken (scratch, sit, layback), and that's it! (I'll add when I get more here too!)

Elements+footwork= Spiral, Catchfoot spiral, Biellman spiral (kinda.....),Spread Eagle, Ina Bauer, Shoot the Duck (no animals were hurt in the production of this move.....:), basic turns, SEQUENCES! (I <3 SEQUENCES!). ( I'll add, you get the point!)
